Bringing young people to the organ – a European competition

Nidarosdom, Trondheim The ECHO cities of Europe invite entries for a competition to devise an organ-related musical event to bring young people to the instrument.  ECHO stands for European Cities of Historical Organs (EUROPAE CIVITATES HISTORICORUM ORGANORUM) and is an association of nine cities in nine EU countries which have important historic organs, and want to promote this historic heritage.  The ECHO cities are keen to work together across national borders, and range from Trondheim in the north to Mafra, Portugal, in the south (more on the ECHO cities here.)
