Payment and refund policy

General

  • The circumstances in which the College will refund a payment are set out below.
  • Where a refund is due, the refund will usually be made using the same method used for the original payment. Card payments will be refunded direct to the card that made the payment.
  • Refunds will be processed promptly.
  • Refunds will be made in Pounds Sterling, unless specifically arranged otherwise. The College cannot be responsible for fluctuations in the exchange rate since the original payment was made.
  • Direct Debit refunds and disputes will be dealt with in accordance with the Direct Debit Guarantee.

Examinations

  • A candidate absent from an examination, or any part of it, forfeits the examination fee.
  • Where absence is due to illness, provided that a medical certificate is received within three working days, the College will consider refunding up to 60% of the examination fee.
  • At the College’s discretion, an examination fee may be carried forward to a subsequent session on the payment of a deferral fee of £50, provided that this fee is paid before the first examination date

Events

  • For most events, a partial refund may be made when a booking is cancelled before the event takes place.
  • The refunds policy for each event is stated on the relevant booking page.
