The Orgelbüchlein Project – in competition and performance

Winners of the two first prizes in the RCO/Orgelbüchlein composition competition:   Gerard Brooks and Stephen Barber The Orgelbüchlein Project (a composition project to complete the 118 "ghost" pieces missing from J S Bach's Orgelbüchlein) is entering its final phase, with only a few commissions remaining, and publishers Peters Edition preparing material for Volume 5 of the New Orgelbüchlein.  This will include the two chorales that were ring-fenced by the Project for an RCO composition competition, and the finals of this competition - a concert performance of the ten short-listed pieces - were held in July…
