Libby Larsen (picture credit Ann Marsden) Woman Composer Sunday was launched in 2021 to provide a platform for some of the wonderful music composed for organ by women composers.  A joint initiative by the Society of Women Organists and the RCO, it went from initial idea to a successful event in little over eight weeks. Organists were invited to play music by women composers at Sunday services on 5 March that year (just before International Women's Day the following Tuesday), and to post recordings of service music by women composers - voluntaries, anthems, psalms, service settings…
