In this short video, Judith Kleinman outlines the principles of Alexander Technique for musicians, and in particular organists. She explains how the technique can generate the ideal state for performance by examining how we breathe and move as we play, and the importance of constantly re-organising ourselves on the organ bench, to create fluent movement, and hence fluent playing.
