Who alone is good : a performance of Paul Trepte’s winning piece in the RCO Composition Competition
In 2020, the RCO invited entries of previously unpublished and unperformed compositions for organ solo (or organ and one instrument or voice) in a composition competition. The jury was chaired by Gerard Brooks, the RCO President, who was joined by Judith Weir CBE, Master of the Queen's Music, and Thomas Trotter, international concert organist and Organist of Birmingham Town Hall. Over 60 entries were received.
