Who alone is good : a performance of Paul Trepte’s winning piece in the RCO Composition Competition
Nicholas Madden and Paul Trepte perform Who alone is good for tenor solo and organ, a setting by Paul Trepte of the words of St Francis of Assisi, which won the 25 years and over category in the RCO’s Composition Competition in 2020.

RCO Medal to be awarded at a concert to celebrate the life of Jennifer Bate
Before her death last year, Jennifer Bate made specific requests for a memorial concert in her name. This event has just been announced, and it will also include the posthumous presentation of the RCO Medal to Jennifer, in recognition of her contributions to organ performance and teaching.

The aim of interNational Organ Day in April 2021 was to restore the organ in the public’s consciousness to its former position central to music making across the world.
